So here we are, our final month, December.

December is the month of festivities.I am celebrating my 40th birthday, and Christmas is only days away!

November's Sketch

Hello November

November is the month to be thankful. Our friends across the pond will be celebrating Thanksgiving this month, so I thought it was time to reflect on what we are thankful for. I am thankful for my family and good health this year.What are you thankful for?

Here is Octobers's sketch.I have chosen a sketch from Becky Fleck As with previous sketches, I have used a conventional 12" x 12", and will easily work on any sizes.

This months theme is Autumn. Lets bring Autumn onto our page with colours of gold, russets, ornage and coppers!

Autumn is officially here now.The beautiful shades of copper, red, yellow and green.The crisp cold mornings and clear blue skies. Leaf kicking with or without the children! Happy Autumn memoires!

September is always a busy and emotional month for me.Lots of new beginings for us also. We all start a new school year and birthdays bring new beginings and anniversaries good or bad, bring with them the start of another year with or without that person.

August Sketch

Here is Augusts's sketch. As with previous sketches, I have used a conventional 12" x 12", and will easily work on any sizes.Do not be put off by the circle. I will use a half circle on my 6" x 12" size.

Technique

This months theme is Food!!. This sketch has a couple of journaling tags for you to add favourite recipes, or a list of favouriote foods!Why not use the middle strip to journal a favourite recipe!

August - Month 8

Hello August!

Its Harvest time in Cambridgeshire, and one of my favourite times of year! If you love foraging, this is the time to go out with an empty basket and come back with it laden with fruits!

August's checklist:

This months theme is :

Food

Food is any substance, usually composed of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and water, that can be eaten or drunk by an animal, including humans, for nutrition or pleasure. Items considered food may be sourced from plants, animals or other categories such as fungus or fermented products like alcohol

I love to cook and bake,and to go out into the country side looking for blackberries, plums and apples, to pick and turn into pies and jams! Our tomatoes are nearly ready to pick, and summer salads will be adorned with sweet homegrown toms!

Photography Prompt:

Have fun photographing your daily food. Maybe you have a vegetable patch or some pots with tomatoes in. If you are near the countryside look for blackberries and plums ready to harvest!

Journaling Prompt:

What does food mean to you? Do you love to cook and bake, or is food just part of your daily routine? Maybe add some of your favourite recipes to your album.Look around your neighbourhood and see how many different fruits you can found!Take note.
