Dead Chuffed | Jane Austen Competiton

I am sure you cannot forget the photos I posted here form the Jane Austen Shoot I attended earlier in the month, organized by Melissa Love. I havnt stopped talking about it, LOL. I so enjoyed the day more than you can imagine. The styling, the models, the photographers all made the day memorable and inspirational!

Anyways, Melissa held a competition for all us attendees and we uploaded a favorite photo from the day that we had taken.

This was my submission

The beautiful girl in the photo is Flora Dutton, one of the models on the day. This was my favorite scene, the Garden Tea Party. It was no surprise that I chose to submit from this scene really.

Well the winners were announced yesterday and I am really chuffed to announce that I came 3rd with the talented Tracey Barrow.

First place went to Boo Marshal. Congratulations to all the winners I feel really honured to amongst such fine talent.

I have won a set of vintage actions from Lisa Delvin; what could be more perfcet for me!

Jane Austen Stylized Shoot Scene 2 | Cambridgeshire Lifestyle Photographer

Moving on from this post, The Jane Austen Shoot I attended was made up of 5 scenes. Today I am sharing my favorite scene of all, The Garden Tea Party.

This is my favorite just because I was in my comfort zone, working with children in a beautiful vintage style scene.

The child models for the day were so well behaved, and were just perfect little Jane Austen models.

I adored the bonnets the girls wore and stunning cotten dresses

 

Beautiful floral headdresses adorned little girls

 

The details were just as spectauclar as the previous scene; beautiful vintage china, gorgeous cakes yum yum, floral pieces that smelt and look divine.

This little girl had the most beautiful blue eyes that complimented this cute blue bonnett.

Jane Austen Stylized Shoot | Cambridgeshire Lifestyle Photographer

Last Monday I had the great pleasure of attending a Melissa Love stylized shoot; this theme was Jane Austen.

As I drove up the gravel drive to Wiston House in Steyning, I was already giddy with excitement from the view ahead of me, transposted into a Jane Austen Novel.

Melissa had teamed up with Orchestrated Stylised Shoots from Virginia, USA, and every small details had been taken into account. From the beautiful models, vinatge tea sets, make up and hair and the most stunning dresses from White Mishief Bridal. Hair accessories and gorgeous cakes were also in abundance!

 

The flowers and bridal posies were beautiful and smelt divine!

 

I love this shot I took from behind a clematis, you can just make out the table set for tea.

 

The dresses provided on the day made me want to get married again. This dress had a lace overlay.

Jane Austin Styled Shoot

Wow, I dont know where to start, I have had the most amazing couple of days away with photogs from all over the UK and America! I have met the most amazing people and have made new friends. I have been inspired and motivated beyond belief, and I must have a fortnight worth of pictures and blogging for you, LOL.

I am so busy at the moment that I havn't had a spare moment to start on my editing from the Jane Austin workshop on Monday.

 

I am just sharing a sneak for today and then I am going to do some proper full posts with all the details, vendors and so on!
