I am finally getting round to sharing some sneaks of my layout class tonight, Flaming Butterfly using teh gorgeous Nikki Sivils papers.

Flaming Butterfly - Layout

Create a layout using layers, punches and handmade flowers with Nikki Sivils Flaming Butterfly. You will need 1 7"x 5" landscape photo. I have used a closeup of two girls.

Just a reminder that we will be having our annual charity raffle. This year in aid of a dear Scrapping Angels friend, Catherine Swift who passed away last month, I will be donating 50% of the money raised to Ovarian Cancer, the other 50% going to The MS Soceity.

I hope you can bring a few extra pennies to help raise lots of money for these very worthwhile charities.

You will be in for a treat with Tracie Hudsons classes. Using the latest from Prima and American Crafts you will not be dissapointed!

Layout Class American Crafts

If you are looking to create a treasured keepsake to share, or if you just love to create a gorgeous project for yourself, then this is the class for you.

Taught by Tracie Hudson, this technique based class will lead you through the creative process of putting together a tactile and interactive 12x12 Love themed layout.

During the class you will experiment with fabulous products from American Crafts, whilst discovering for yourself just how easy it is to create something special.

Once the class is completed Tracie will provide you with a set of instructions detailing how to use up the class kit leftovers to create another page in your own time.

The class kit is filled with all the latest and greatest releases from Prima and after you have cut, sewn, layered and added plenty of bling and blooms to your project , you'll walk away  with a completed mini album, which is sure to be treasured for years to come. photos can be added at a later date.

Today I am sharing some sneak peeks from Sandie's classes.

Bayberry Cottage - Layout class

Using the beautiful new Bayberry Cottage papers and embellishments from Pink Paislee we are going to create a page, perfect for any theme. Using Calico and hand-stitching, and a striking blend of colours you will have a stunning layout to preserve those special memories. 4 - 2” x 3” portrait photos (preferably in black and white)

Flag Book - Mini book Class

We are going to create a fabulous flip style mini book, using the gorgeous Kaisercraft Devonshire papers and embellishments. Perfect for all occasions you will learn how to put one of these clever books together to create a wonderful keepsake of days out or family events, the choice is yours!

You will need to bring along 10 - 2" x 3" photos

"Bring a friend along" offer

Hi Ladies

As you may already know, this year is our last Scrapping Angels retreat.

And due to the Volcanic Ash disrupting airspace in April, I was unable to return to England and the retreat had to be rescheduled.

Our rescheduled date is June 12th - 13th. Due to some cancellation that were unavoidable, I have 5 places left for grabs!

I am offering anyone who brings a friend/refers a friend along, a free class!

All you have to do is ask your friend to mention your name in an email to me to claim your free class.

We will be going out with a bang! Lots of fun will be had, great company, fantastic classes, and our charity raffle for MS which is always such a success, raising much needed funds for the MS Society.I hope to see lots of new faces and maybe some of you who werent able to make the April date can join us in June.

Create a bespoke piece of shabby chic home decor with this no photo scrapping project and gorgeous Glitz papers. Class 5 Distressing can be pretty with bright coloured papers from Glitz. Full of some distressing trends and a bit of stamping this 12 x12 layout class will also use multiple photos.   I will more sneaks of classes this weekend! Happy Scrapping Anna x

Not Long Now...

With only a handful of weeks left till our 5th and final retreat, we are very busy behind the scenes. Class details will be going up shortly and you will not be dissapointed.

We have Pink Pailsee, Cosmo Cricket, Glitz, Nikki Sivils to name just a few of the products you will be playing with this year.

We will also be holding our annual charity raffle in aid of The MS Society, and the donation list is looking pretty impresive!

Welcome to a New Year, and another Scrapping Angels retreat is not far away!

Scrapping Angels Retreat 5

We are pleased to announce that Scrapping Angels retreats will be coming back to Wyboston Lakes for 2010.

Next years dates are 24th April - 25th April 2010. We will be offering a day delegate, weekend delegate and a full weekend delegate options.

Lets Meet...

Hi

My name is Anna. I am the founder of Scrapping Angels and our first retreat was in 2005. A lot has been learned since September 2005, and our residentvenue at Wyboston Lakes has proved a winning formula with Scrapping Angels delegates.

I have been scrapping since 2004, and have been published regularly in our UK magazines, as well as in the US, Australia and Europe. I am an avid photographer, which makes my love for scrapbooking an added joy!

I love gardening, cooking and reading as well as raising money for a charity very close to my heart, The MS Society.

As well as running retreats and teaching all over the UK, I run the challenge website, Pencil Lines, a sketch site published weekly.

I am really looking forward to the weekend, and cannot wait to see new and familiar faces! I will leave with a sneak of my layout class, "Fascinating".
